Teacher Training

At Greenwich our teacher training courses are currently held at our Avery Hill campus

We offer around 30 teacher education courses, including BA Hons and PGCE qualifications.

At undergraduate level, you can study primary education, or a one-year lifelong learning professional certificate in education. Postgraduates can choose from a number of specialist PGCEs.

Our Primary education courses are rated as ‘outstanding’ by ofsted and have strong links with schools

Have a look at our video to learn more about our specialist facilities for teacher training at our Avery Hill campus

Hi @Leahtaylor125

What course were you interested in specifically?

A strong application usually meets the entry requirements and is accompanied by a strong personal statement

thanks I'm looking for primary education with QTS please

Thanks @Leahtaylor125

We don't currently offer summer school for this.

The entry requirements for Primary education with QTS currently are 112 UCAS points from A-levels, with no more than 12 points from AS-levels.
For GCSE’s we need maths, science and English language at a minimum of grade 4 or C grade or equivalent. An interview is also required for this course.

We also accept equivalency tests from Equivalency testing for career Development, A Star Equivalency Testing and BCU. We also accept things like BTECs and access courses.

A strong application should demonstrate interest, experience, skills and commitment related to teaching.

Hope this helps

Let me know if you have any more questions
