Student Finance - EEA National

I applied for student finance and said that I am an EEA national . I’ve been living in the UK for 4 years and have Limited leave to remain. But I have a German passport so does that make me and EU or EEA National?

You are an EU/EEA National. You can apply for the EU funding.

Thank you for the reply, I already applied as being an EEA National as it asked me to specify whether I am an EU or EEA National. What should I do now ?

EU Applicants are unable to apply online, you should complete the EU application form and send this in the post https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-forms

But I live in the UK now, so what do I have to do if I want to change my nationality from EEA to EU in my submitted student finance application ?

I don't understand. If you are a German National then you are an EU/EEA National. You can apply for the EU Tuition Fee Loan only by completing the EU20N form http://ow.ly/7u9n30qioFw which must be sent in the post.

To apply to Student Finance England for a Maintenance Loan, you must have resided in the UK for 5 years prior to the first day of the first academic year of your course or meet the Migrant Worker criteria http://ow.ly/2x0230oL92f
Thanks, Isaac
