Addicted to porn

I have a pornography addiction and it is killing my sperm. I don't currently have a girlfriend, but I would one day want someone to carry on with my legacy. I love to watch two or more lesbians kissing and having sex and also watching Eva Lovia. But, ultimately this will prevent me from ever becoming a father.

How could I stop before it's too late?

Why is it a problem?

Once you find a woman, then give it up. Otherwise it will probably save you time and money.
The testicles are constantly producing new sperm. You've nothing to worry about. Enjoy all the porn you like.

I somehow disbelieve this, as many men who watch porn have a low sperm count.
Ah I feel you man, I used to be in the same boat. Check out NoFap to get started on your journey. If you need an tips and tricks, just ask

Also ignore the people saying to keep going. Doubt they would tell a crack addict to keep going so don't know why they're advising a porn addict to.

Keep busy so you're not thinking about it. Try not to be left alone at home. Try to stay away from phone and tech so that temptation is limited. Speak to someone about it and to help keep you accountable.

Try and get off porn if you can. Its not good for you and it’s also not good for women either. You’re watching another man bang the woman you’d like to bang, which is essentially cuckoldry

Thank you @MKaur18, I will try my best not to visit any porn websites, in particular PornHub or Xhamster. But, I don't think I could survive without my phone, it is basically glued to my hands 24/7. It is also used for writing. Perhaps, I will seek professional advice.

Thank you Arthur_Morgan. Some people merely fail to realise how bad it is to have a porn addiction.

I only watch lesbian porn, but also get off on Eva's videos when she dances and removes her clothing. I know how that sounds, but we're all different.

Those people are blind to it and are likely not up to date on the latest neuroscience. Porn addiction is a real thing and it's debilitating. I wish you the best of luck in your recovery process.

Again, if you need any help, hmu.

It's these non-sequitor type analogies used by the no fap community that contributes to what they say being a complete load of twaddle.

I would advise anyone to kick their crack habit because:
1 it's expensive.
2 it's illegal in the UK and most other countries in the world. Canadians can ignore this factor.
3 there's no quality control in the actual product you're buying for the vast majority of crack addicts. This lack of quality control means that you don't know what you're putting into your body with any particular hit. And this therefore comes with associated health risks.

Masturbating to porn, on the other hand:
1 can be done for free
2 is totally legal in the UK
3 there are no health risks - as advised on the NHS website.

Getting a hang-up about masturbation is more likely to decrease your chances of fathering children than masturbating without guilt whenever YOU want to.
Why?
Confidence is attractive to women.
Having a high self esteem is attractive to women.
You setting high standards for yourself is attractive to women.
Women are attracted to men that dont' make a drama out of something that's no big deal.

Give yourself the green light to give yourself a cardio vascular workout by masturbating whenever you feel it's appropriate. It's healthy and it's pleasureable.

If you've gotten to the stage where masturbation is about all that you seem to do, then it's not the porn and masturbation that's the issue. It's the lack of having something else in your life to usefully occupy your time that's the issue. In that case focus on filling your life with something that is more profitable to you - in the broadest sense of the term "profitable".

Well, that's certainly a lot to read and I appreciate your reply. Confidence is important to both men and women, so I would most definitely need to work on that and to not make such a big drama out of things. As to the masturbation, I thought it lowered sperm count?

Don't worry about your sperm count.

It's not an issue at all.

Do you know how many sperm cells are released with each ejaculation? It's quite mind-boggling.
And how many you need to enter an egg to fertilise it?

'One sperm and one egg to make a baby' well I never knew that. Obviously, I know about the birds and the bees, but I thought it would take more than one sperm. Thank you for providing the link.

I think this is Eva Lovia, certainly what Google told me.

You can masturbate without porn, which is less damaging than watching porn and perfectly fine 🙃
