Is it weird to heat water up for tea/coffee in the microwave and not kettle?

Its how I drink mine, I cant bare it from a kettle.. the thought almost makes me throwup

The thing that I dont like is every damn kettle has limescale and it freaks me out and makes me sick.
I wouldn't say its weird, I have heard of people doing it that way.
For me im afraid I prefer boiling up the water in a good old fashioned kettle.

I do it sometimes when the kettle is occupied and my parents won’t let me use it because they made enough water only for them. I don’t like to wait sometimes.

Yes, personally I boil water in a kettle.
I use kettle... so a little bit weird in my pov..
