Congratulations on receiving your offers! Our Fine Art programme is incredibly competitive so you should be very proud. I'd definitely recommend looking into both universities to see what programme, location, campus, etc. best fits your interests, but I'd be happy to give a bit of insight about studying Art at Goldsmiths!
Each BA Fine Art student at Goldsmiths is given a studio, and you will also have access to our nine specialists Art Practice Areas providing support for a wide variety of processes that complement and extend traditional disciplines, such as metalwork, casting, woodwork, ceramics, textiles, print, photography, 3D printing, graphics, video editing, animation and 3D modelling. We also have the
Goldsmiths CCA (Centre for Contemporary Art) on campus which is an incredible multi-level contemporary art gallery that showcases a mix of internationally renowned and emerging artists.
In addition to the facilities on campus, South East London is an incredible place for young, emerging artists. There are a tonne of art galleries within walking distance, as well as creative cafe and bar spaces in the neighbourhood. We're also only one stop from London Bridge station, so you can easily get to the Tate Modern or other large, free galleries in Central London.
If you have any specific questions about the programme or area I'm always happy to help.
