If I were to like someone and then see them go off with other guys, i’d be disappointed and would probably upset. I’d force myself to move on in order to stop myself being hurt, and so I would as a result love the girl less after that.

If the boy took the girl back and gave her a chance after that, would he love the girl less and see her differently

He might not trust her as much, it would take longer for the relationship to develop since he might feel hurt and unsure.
