One of my parents handed an A4 sized tampax box to me because it was out of our households "quarantine" (yes we do that).
Being extremely confused that I would receive such a kind and useful gift especially since I haven't sent off for anything recently lets just say so I opened it.
Did anyone else receive a tampax box? I did type it into google and Ucas came up so I thought I'd ask here
That’s such a kind thing UCAS are doing. I haven’t received one.
Now this makes sense. I thought you were going crazy. 😅
I thought I was going crazy (especially since I am supposed to be starting uni and havent sent off for anything as of yet) Its one of the few explanations I could find Maybe someone else will come along in a min and have received them too
yup, my sister applied this year through UCAS and they sent her an envelope with 3 pads, pantyliners and tampons each.Idk why you got a pack of tampons only though??🤔

This is interesting. I’m going to run to the door every time the mail arrives from now on.
Imagine how sad I will be every time I do not receive a box. 😭

Why are UCAS even sending tampons in the first place? That’s weird.
Aren’t they meant to be processing college applications and that? What’s the idea behind sending tampons through the post?

I got a mixture of pads + tampons as well (Sorry for the confusion)

Hilarious and now it makes more sense. I recall when this happened before, maybe they do it every year? Just seems like some combined marketing and a bit of an aid v period poverty or whatever as students cna be quite poor.
