garage asked for proof of mileage before repairs
I had a minor accident with minor damage to my car but wasn't my fault so getting it repaired through third party insurer. The garage have asked for pictures of my car as well as a picture of the mileage. Is this normal? Why do they need the mileage? Sorry if this sounds stupid hahaha but this is the first time I've been through this so wasn't sure.

Probably so they can try and invalidate your insurance or something.

thought it was a strange request considering the fact that I've only had the car since march and have done like 300 miles since then hahaha
