i’ve been having intrusive thoughts everyday. i imagine things like my mum being sh*t and k*lled, my partner cheating on me and my dad r*ping me and i don’t stop imagining things like these until i get a panic attack and start crying uncontrollably. and then it carries on for hours. any little feeling of sadness or anger can trigger this. i believe i have other mental health issues such as anxiety and BD but this is the one that has really been affecting me so far. please help what’s wrong with me?

I'm really sorry that this is happening to you. Nothing is wrong with you as a person; however, you are suffering from an issue and this should be sorted out. Maybe call your GP and tell them everything - mental illnesses often link together and it's really important to take care of your mental health.

But it's not YOU - it's the illness. You're an amazing person and you can beat this.

i just feel like a specialist wouldn’t understand
I’m no expert but it sounds as if you are suffering with intrusive thoughts. You maybe experiencing a form of OCD called Pure OCD. This is where an individual obsessions (thoughts) without compulsion. I believe I am battling this at the moment. My thoughts are sudden and range from doing something completely random to some that are a lot more harder to deal with. The thoughts can cause me anxiety but not all the time.
I’m so sorry you’ve had this. I’ve been having such awful thoughts well, not like this. Mine are me acting out on something I don’t want to become. I feel the same as you and think someone else wouldn’t understand. But I think it’s best to see someone.
I think you really need to contact a GP in order to sort out this mental illness. Another place to try would be Kooth, which is an online teenage mental health help organisation with trained therapy-based professionals you can speak to. There is nothing wrong with you and you are going to be okay. These intrusive thoughts can be controlled and one day you won't feel like there is anything wrong with you. You've got this, your gonna do great.

They aren't fantastic but because of corona virus and how difficult it is to get a GP appointment right now I would still suggest having a look!
