Can't get a date or a girlfriend

Going on to do a masters in September but pretty inexperienced and would like to start dating more, ideally in search of a relationship. Felt I missed out in uni because of concentrating on my job and my small social circle.

Have tried online dating and apps such as OKCupid, Tinder, Hinge, Happn, etc but no real success.

Any advice? I'm an Indian male btw

Hi, I think make the most of your chances and opportunities at university whilst you do your masters.. if there are any student union events going on, try and take part in as many as you can. Make more conversations with the people in your class, maybe set up a study group so you can get to know people better. And just try being friendly and approachable, hopefully there will be more like minded people this time around and more opportunity to meet them! Good luck!
Book a flight to the Philippines you'll come back with a wonderful woman in no time at all!

Probably wouldn't stretch that far, but an escort is my plan if no luck by 25.

Cost of an escort and the risk of disease is real bad though honestly it'd be worth the longterm investment to get a foreign girlfriend and bring her here she'd appreciate it I'm happy with my Filipina she stay's strong and has never given me a bad day

Thanks, these are some good recommendations you've given. I'm not sure if I'll be accepted on my masters (yet to do student finance and provide my academic references) but if so, I'll try and get out there as much as I can. One of the reasons I decided to pursue a masters this year was to give myself another chance to turn around my social failures from my three years at uni; seeing most of my friends having relationships, flings or a social life really got to me by the time I finished.

I'm sure you're right, but I've seen way too many people wait, get to 35 and enter a loveless marriage. I think the 'rush' is trying to get experience with dating, girls, etc before an age where it becomes a turn off

Glad you seem to be happy with yours.

An independent escort from somewhere like adultwork wouldn't be too bad as obviously you're made to wear a condom. Figured though, just to use an escort the amount of times a year an average couple has sex would set me back £11k at £200 a session, so price is the only downside
No offence, but you come across as desperate, and women can pick up on that. A person will come into your life when youre not actively looking, but to get to this point, you will have to invest your time elsewhere and make yourself busy with things you truly enjoy. It seems you really just want to have sex, rather a real relationship

I think it's probably lockdown that's brought out that bit in me, as I've been doing my own thing in solitude for a while now. When I worked on the side at uni, I'd go into London for most of the day. I also tried to invest heavy time into hobbies like singing, music, reading, etc but no matter how much I engaged myself in these, it didn't really benefit my life much apart from being more knowledgeable in these areas.

Also, virginity can get to you deeply so I think if I got it out of the way then a real relationship would be my aim.
Relationships are overrated

I would have advised you to join a social hobby, but clearly thats not possible at the moment! Lol.

I've joined citysocializer and might join meet-up.com but that's been mediocre so far.

Fresh trim and gym lol.

But in all seriousness If you stuck to your small social circle have you started speaking to more people and being more sociable. The more people you meet and more random activities you do the better the chance there is for you to meet someone organically right. Just get involved in as much as possible.

Gym I'm working on and I get a haircut roughly once a week. I'm like a 5/10 for an Asian, average but not downright ugly aha.

I stuck to them in later years; in first year, I talked to hundreds of people, went to parties, drank, socialised, etc but those friendships fell apart and none of the girls I knew found me attractive. Some of my friends met people through clubbing on campus but didn't join societies; this worked until they started going out together without me.
