maths or maths with statistics

Which of maths and maths with statistics is better to apply? I'm quite certain that I want to specialise in statistics, but maths with statistics seems to have a lower acceptance rate and way lesser admissions in any uni in general.

Compare the course content before you decide.

Really? Surely a straight stats degree will cover more stats?
Maths with Stats
Having good understanding of statistics is a skill that only the greatest may acquire, also opens more doors I guess in finance, econ, AI fields, etc

If you want to study Stats then do a Stats degree ...

I'm quite certain that I want to specialise in statistics

Then do Maths and Statistics.
Applying for Maths because its easier to get into, even though you want to specialize in statistics is risky because you might not be allowed to transfer at some universities which leaves you with having to study something you don't like.
