This factory has conducted every measure but still couldnt avoid the outbreak

It is understandable that ppl are scared when they think they've done whatever they could do yet still unable to contain the spread of the virus.
But, could they have been missing one thing - Ventilation?
My guess is they might be working in a closed environment w/ a large number of workers in it.
My intuition is that in an indoor environment 2m distance is NOT enough. Actually, even 10m, 20m may still be not enough!
This is bcs the static air in a closed room will eventually accumulate the concentration of the virus to an infectious level, if there is one patient in it.
Moreover, if the air conditioner is used in the factory, the chance of getting infected will be drastically increased, unless the AC is working under Fresh Air mode. Unfortunately, most AC doesnt support that mode.
If poor ventilation is indeed the cause, the solution is actually very simple: Just keep the air refreshed all the times. It doesnt even need to done w/ a fast airflow - once fresh air starts to move in, the concentration of virus will be lowered tremendously, even the air flows at a very low speed.
Anyone who has the info about the ventilation condition in Greencore pls publish that info here. We need to find out the root cause otherwise this country will continue to suffer from the virus.

Where does it say they did everything they could?
Presumably the workers go home and mix with outsiders and theur own families?

The key is, w/ good ventilation in place, even there are some patients in the factory, the rest of employees can still be protected from getting infected due to the greatly lowered contents of virus in the air.

Cant be highly effective if 300 were infected and its closed down.
Obviously as sooon as they leave then people have been picking it up as well.

I think we need to go back to basics. The virus is minute. Smaller than a bacteria. It infects by being inhaled or enters through the mouth / nose.
The virus doesn't understand the rules
The virus does adhere to the 2m rule
The virus doesn't care about social distancing
If it enters through your mouth or nose uou will get it. Surely more airflow just means scattering the virus around everyone socially distanced in an enclosed space?

Fully agree - we have to understand all these key facts then we know what is the best way to handle it.
If the non-freshair air conditioner is running, 2m is very likely NOT enough.
To evaluate the possibility of getting infected, the key is VOLUME CONCENTRATION OF THE VIRUS. Pls be aware that it is NOT one virus enters into your body then you get infected - you will need at least thousand of them invading into you before getting infected. The point of creating a moving air is it will dramatically lower the concentration.
Seems most ppl just dont understand this...

I feel obliged to point out that this most certainly does not say that they 'did everything they could... not even remotely close to it.

It does, on the same token though given there are billions of err bits of virus (completely forgotten the technical word for it) in the air, it has a better chance of diluting it. Inhaling but a couple of strands of the virus may or may not infect you, getting a faceful of sneeze from an infected person has a much better chance of doing it. As with drugs, number of times crossing the road without looking etc. more is worse.
