Hi, Does anyone know where to get sources from or know of any good contemporary or secondary sources for the AQA A level History NEA topic witchcraft? I am completely in the dark as to where to get sources from (and if there are any free sources). Do they need to been books, articles or journals? Please... HELP 😭😭😭

personally im hoping the coursework is actually cancelled. Year 10s get reduced content for GCSEs so im hoping they take this approach and remove coursework, albeit a long shot.

They definitely won't. The NEA is meant for students to display their capabilities and the intellect in researching a time period in History and be able to analyse and evaluate what happened.

Well since we are both doing the NEA on witchcraft, if you find any good resources it would be nice if you could share them, and of course ill do the same
Yes definitely. Quite frankly I don't know where to look for some resources and whether they should be articles, books or journals. But I'll try my best.
It's not the perfect source but https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p07nx05j could be a good (and interesting) entry point - and if you google the historian she wrote this book which might be a good starting source and has a section with further reading https://suzannahlipscomb.com/books/witchcraft/ - it seems like the sort of book that a lot of local libraries would have in stock (there's a more serious radio discussion from a few years earlier and before the book was published here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06kckxk )
