Placement/unpaid work

Hi I am looking into doing a occupational therapy course at a Glasgow College, but it’s online only that is offer, but I need to get a placement first, does anyone know what companies would take on unpaid people to gain experience in this field, and assist with my course at college? Thank you.

I don't know anything about occupational therapy, but the college might have some contacts that they could give you to help with finding a place?
