The police obviously have a need of better training for what is undoubtedly a difficult job, wether l approaching a car door or a front door knowing there is a very good chance the person the other side could have a gun.
Perhaps if the $12m was to come out of the 401s of the top people in charge of the police it would make them get their fingers out and improve the training.
I recall the guy killed in Swatting , told get on the floor, then to get up. There were half a dozen AR15s trained on him.
He was a fat guy in loose sweat pants and as he got up they started to come down. He instinctively went to pull them up by his hips and subsequently died from s haul of bullets.
That it was beyond the imagination of these professionals that this might happen and to warn him to not put his hands anywhere near his body is unbelievable.
