both 25

You are both quite young and at the start and medium point of your career, at what age you thinking of marrying? And having a child together?

But with the hectic lifestyle, and going to new countries, sharing the same hotel rooms with flight attendants, what are the likelihood of cheating?

What? Not only do the males in different roles on a flight not generally share hotel rooms (for health and safety - crew rest), some airlines won't put aircrew and cabin crew in the same hotel.

Nope. If he's young the girls will be on him like flies on ****. I'm not saying this to make you feel bad. It is what it is. He may not be interested at first but the allure of the young women fawning all over him may eventually become too much to resist. It also may not 🤷🏻*♀️

He is good looking, well I think he is , we were each others first I really don't want that ruined :frown:
How romantic is your boyfriend? How tall is he? What ethnicity and background is he?
Have you spoken to him today?

I understand your emotions, feelings amd thoughts.

If i were in your postion, had i have had a boyfriend (which I hope I can find later ), I would trust him first and if in doubt, sl9wly peek his phone to see he is nothing doing anything naughty with another girl

Yeah I get that

I just suffer from anxiety in general I messaged him stupidly saying we could be friends and that I don't want him tied down I think I just need space before I hurt someone else just based off my own emotions and because I can't handle them ;/

Maybe a few days space would do me good, just to gather my bearings it's not nice to take it out on someone.
This is going to be a constant fear for you while he is a pilot. If you are feeling like this now and it's already eating you up how are you going to cope for potentially what, 30 years? Flying is not like any other profession and that is a fact. You either have to be able to trust your man and enjoy your time together or ruin something amazing because of (currently) unfounded fears of something possibly going wrong. Any relationship can end, anyone can cheat. Is that a reason to end things?

Maybe you are getting too emotional.

Just relax
In any relationship, there is always a risk of lying and cheating.

We all have to learn to be with it and be more truthful to anyone who we have a relationship with ( be it your bf/husband,mother,father,sister,brother,friends and extended family).

Yeah well sue me,

It's easier said than done, when you've been with someone for a long time to realise you love them a lot, and any thought of it merely ruining that it's scary.

Besides weren't you the one stating other facts such as if he's young the girls are going to be on him, so therefore isn't it plausible I'd be a bit taken aback (I'm not saying you're wrong I just didn't know to some extent) I've had bad anxiety like I said I will never stop him, it's his job just like my career was my dream!

Cosmo? And therein lies the problem; you can't rely on them for an entirely straight story where they haven't sexed things up a bit. You're overthinking it.

Thing is, if someone wants to cheat, they will. It's not being away in exotic locations and hotel rooms and flight attendants; someone in a 9 to 5 office job could have an affair with someone who lived a mile down the road in a suburban semi.

There's plenty of professions that see people apart a lot; some relationships dont survive, but it's not always about cheating, some partners just don't like being on their own for long periods, especially if they have children, house, job and are socialising with friends in couples. My boyfriend and I were in the Armed Forces, in different roles, and could spend months 1000s of miles apart with crappy phone and email connections. We've survived! You've got to put the effort in to keep in touch and keep it going, and trust each other.
