Hey,

I'm in Y11 and want to know where is the best place to study?
I can only get quiet in my bedroom (which is upstairs, so it makes it extremely hot).

I also use my desk to watch Yt and relax and stuff like that.

What do you suggest?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah study somewhere quiet. Maybe get a fan or leave a window open in your room.
Studying at a desk is ideal.

Set yourself a space specifically to study. Leave the window open/ get a fan if it's too hot.
Make sure your desk is free of distractions. Leave your phone downstairs, get everything you need before you start studying so you're not constantly getting up to get a ruler or a textbook.

If you find it hard to study in your room, maybe try going to the library?

The ideal study space is different for everyone. While some are only able to thrive in a silent environment, others feel they need background noise or music. I’d suggest trying out different spaces and seeing where you can focus best e.g. your room, the kitchen table, the school or your local library

Hi 15977emily

The ideal study space for me is somewhere quite, comfortable and where there are no distractions. When I was in school I often liked going to the library to revise as sometimes I got distracted by things in my room.

If your room is hot see if you can get a fan and try and leave the windows open

Good luck!
