You mean A level? Both are really good options. The majority of law students tend to pick History & English Literature and philosophy is much more closer to the two disciplines. But you would not go wrong either way as Psychology and Philosophy are very much top of the list when it comes to preferred subjects particularly for law by Russell group universities.

Check with each uni... alternatively give the school a ring. I would presume either of them to be ok?
Very few care for law. If they did, they will state in their requirements. E.g. LSE https://www.lse.ac.uk/study-at-lse/Undergraduate/Prospective-Students/How-to-Apply/Admissions-Information Tbh you have english and history so you'll be fine tbh with all unis so pick whatever you enjoy more so you can get the higher grades they want for law

A-level maths is hard. I can tell you that much.
Hard:
English
Maths
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
MFL
Ancient Languages
History
Geography
Philosophy
Politics
Economics
Geology

Soft:
Media studies
Film
Drama
Art
Music
Graphics
Photography
Business studies
Psychology
Sociology


There will be more but this was what I could think of. It’s what you would expect really
Apparently psychology sociology and basically any humanities subject :/ a levels are hard regardless
'hard' and 'soft' subjects are a thing of the past, as long as the A-level is relevant to the degree you wish to pursue then they're not necessarily viewed differently.
(Though you'd obviously need to check this within the entry requirements of each course)
Art or music for example would be ultrahard if you don't have the aptitude for them. So you choose subjects you're competent at, 'hard' shouldn't come into it. That said, if I was looking for a mid-range subject to be my third one, I'd suggest History or Geography, as everyone has done the basics of them at school and they don't need specialist knowledge or aptitudes.
