No not at all.I wonder if you could engineer it so that you come in later than your family meal times by working in college library or joining some societies which meet even virtually at your family meal times.

Well I get that they want it all done together and then cleared up but unless you are willing to talk to them or do something to change things up as already suggested there is not much to say.
