No.

Have you even read Lincoln's (or Nottingham's) Medicine website?

Nottingham's course is independent from Lincoln.

Lincoln's medical course is administered by Nottingham.

Hi @aroundanaxis,

Speaking as a current University of Lincoln student I think the Medical School is going to be a great addition to the university, city and county. I am not a medical student, (I study history), but I think the creation of a new specialist building with specialist medical facilities will provide new opportunities for prospective students to engage with whilst creating that specialist facility within Lincolnshire.

If anyone does has any questions, feel free to reply to this thread and we will respond as soon as we can

Hi. I’ve scored myself at 37 Nottingham/ Lincoln. I know this isn’t good enough for Nottingham but what about Lincoln? I pass all entry requirements for medicine in all unis but have average UCAT and GCSE’s so know I will be poorly ranked. Any advice??

Please note that double posting is against TSR rules.

Would you like your post here or in the "which medical school should I apply to" megathread - make a decision.

This thread is the more appropriate place seeing as you are literally only asking about Lincoln.

Hi ! I’m also thinking of applying to Lincoln too
Hey!
I’m thinking of applying to Lincoln but I was wondering if anyone knew the lowest scores they’ve accepted for interview?
I have a score of 42(i think) and I don’t know if it is risky applying
Thank you!!

Does anyone have any info on how a graduate is scored prior to interview? I have a 1st class degree which means Alevels/ GCSEs aren’t taken into account and that only the UCAT will be scored, is there a cut off purely of the UCAT score?

That's good! I think it was around 33 (don't quote me on that!) for Lincoln and 46 for Nottingham

I scored 37 at Nottingham/ Lincoln, is the score good enough for Lincoln? I meet all the requirements but have average UCAT and GCSEs, is it worth applying?
Hi, I know Lincoln’s course is administered by Nottingham. But Nottingham do full body dissections, is this the case at Lincoln as well?
What is a good score for lincoln?

This is not the case, and on paper is the only difference between the course at Lincoln and at Nottingham. As a first year Lincoln med student with friends studying medicine at Nottingham, our timetables and lectures are relatively well aligned and we study the same content, the lectures are just tweaked slightly.

Lincoln Medical School offer pro-section for anatomy learning rather than full body dissection. I admit that full body dissection may seem more appealing than pro-section, but the knowledge and experience of anatomy you gain is virtually the same.
