Yes I think so overall, my only concern would be that art is very time-consuming and the workload is quite intense. So around art deadlines you could be quite distracted from other studies. Triple science and history are great together, drama is fine too, but art is not ideal tbh

No worries! I'm not saying you couldn't do art, please do what feels right for you but I feel like focusing on others will help you get the best grades and be a tad less stressed. Good luck with them!

Erm r u not doing math or English? Just be aware of which subjects need you to do coursework n how much coursework. I did everything u r planning to do except drama but w PRE n German n it was k. For me I had coursework in English and art.

English language and literature are a must. It is not an option, options are what you pick willingly.

A language can be quite helpful normally but if you think you'll do better in art/drama then definitely go for that combination. Art is coursework-heavy which can be stressful (I didn't take it but my sister did) but the art exam happens much earlier than all your other exams so come exam season it takes some of the pressure off having one less subject. I do do drama, though, and I 100% would recommend it but you should be aware that it is a lot more writing-heavy than you might expect it to be. I'm not sure about other exam boards but the OCR GCSE ends up being 70% writing and 30% acting (or whatever specialism you choose to do, eg if you want to do costume design you get marked on the sketches you provide). That's a lot of writing! If you find drama reviews/talking about drama in a critical way (eg analysing how an actor uses posture) super difficult, it might not be the subject for you since that forms a basis for a large part of the course. That's not to say don't take it if you find that sort of thing difficult because obviously you learn it with practice but it is something to be aware of. Honestly, GCSE subjects don't really matter at all (no one is going to reject you because you did art instead of Spanish) but your grades can be important so just make sure you know you like them enough to work hard in them and that you will be able to do well in them! The only subject you really need to be taking is triple science (you don't need it to progress to science at A-level but it definitely makes things easier and minimises the jump) and since you've got that I'm sure you'll be fine!
