Do I have to pay to join an internship programme

Apparently, I might have to pay £2000
What type of internship and industry are you interested in?
Quite a few internships connected with roles that involve fashion, specialist training or the luxury niche are priced significantly higher than £2000 for 5-28 days.

Answering the actual question you posed in the thread title, no.

Certain programmes in the UK have become relatively infamous however usually looked down upon. It would be advisable that you avoid these and just get a normal internship through the standard process.

hi I didn't actually know that some internships were free. I was searching economics internships and the first option was this website which said how I had to pay £2000 to get an internship but they can get you international internships... thanks anyways 😊
I'm not going to pay that much lol 😆

Internships should not be free either, they should be paid to compensate you for your own time expended.

Please don't pay or work for free for the sake of an internship!
