GCSE Tutor- In Need Of Maths Guidance

I've recently been asked to help tutor my friend's daughter who is in year 10 and just starting out her GCSEs. I have a degree in mathematics and I do statistical modelling fairly frequently in my day job- however this is the first time I will be tutoring someone from secondary school. Is there a forum here for tutors?

Not that I'm aware of, but there are some tutors and teachers on the forum so feel free to post questions.

You'll be fine. Read through the spec, exam papers and examples of marking. Of course there's more to teaching than that but it's a good start.

This isn't a complete list of the links that you might need but should give you a good idea of what to look out for.
