Teacher taking Money

On the way to school, my mum dropped a £10 note
I noticed this packed it up and said she had dropped it

As I had found, she was really great full and said I was super helpful

At school I got the money out to put on my lunch bank and a teacher asked where I got it from. I just said it was from home.

She confiscated it and said to pick it up at 3oclock

At 3pm I went to the classroom and the teacher said she couldnt find it
Of course she couldn’t

She just said it didn’t matter and said to go otherwise I would miss the bus

How should I approach this?

Just ask for it on the next dayt at school.
Couldnt find doesnt mean stolen.
Bit early to accuse of stealing and she hasnt denied having it.
Cant see why she would prevent you from adding it to your lunch bank? Am assuming thats crediting your account?
Tell an adult at home and let them deal with it.

(I thought you said you live in residential care?)

sounds like she's trying to pull a fast one if you ask me.

I don't like the way she tried to skidaddle you away to get the bus.

on monday ask for it again. if she says she can't it find it threaten to tell the head unless she gives you another one.

I'm not sure why you even gave her the money in the first place when she asked. I would have said. money is not banned is it?

In that case just tell your foster mum now, just in case she asks you if you credited your account and you can see what happens on Monday. As per Black Tea,

Report her to the headmaster

Yes I will do that if she doesn’t give it back!
