Need write light hearty comic story

Hi every one I need to write a story that describe a boy who live his mum and got a gcse test in couple of weeks. He makes mum worry that he’s not doing good revision. But in a week he start revising and he got confidence in his test.
Need show mum anger , his feelings on the exam’s night and exam environment. Also need a twist at conclusion that shows happy or surprising ending!!!!!!
I really struggle in describing and using idioms.

not really sure but what ever that make it more interesting and engage the reader mind , would be desire.

Okay. Could you maybe expand on the plot (but still just a skeleton of said plot).

I’m attaching the plot I got but it’s just an idea and can anything happen in the story.
