What is meant by the common sense of the law

Hi all
I have been assigned my first formative task in the module for anaylsing law and I am really struggling to answer it, obviously with rona i have not met many other law students that i could discuss it with, therfore any help anyone can offer with answering this would be great
the question is, as said in the title, What is the common sense of the Law?

Have you watched the relevant lectures?
Do you have a textbook?

Can you not identify examples where law and common sense meet or not? How much of a case can you make for or against it? Why should common sense apply to the law?
