is there a way to stop freezing (and basically internally curling into myself) whenever something happens that makes me anxious?

Honestly, the sad truth is that I don't think there is. But an alternative you can try is putting in headphones with a sad playlist to comfort yourself in a situation where you feel anxious. But whether you listen to music or curl into yourself, the outcome is still the same, right? Endless crying until you just feel 'unable'. This was kinda dark, but I hope it helps and you feel better!
