well firstly why after the initial part of the reaction the rate changes
secondly does the rate determining step get affected by changing concentrations of the species involved?(or it is independant of concentrations)
thirdly why do we need the methyl orange when bromine which is orange should be enough on its own to indicate the endpoint

referring to the question that i have posted
we assume the initial part of the reaction belongs only to the bromide ions so any increase in concentration of bromide ions will affect the initial rate as well as its shape(from linear to curve if it were to be second order with respect to bromide ion concentration),am i right? please correct me if not.
also we add the phenol to time delay the appearance of the color since if it was not added the color change would occur the instant we mix the reactants,Right?
