Adult Nursing interview @Wolverhampton

I’ve just received an interview date at the Walsall campus. Super nervous as it is my interview. Does anyone have any tips or know what kind of questions will be asked ?

hey! i have just been given my interview date for next Wednesday for my adult nursing degree! it is an online interview but I wondered if anyone had any tips on what they will ask so I can be more prepared!

Hey there, I had my interview this week with Wolverhampton and received an offer, don't stress it, it is very chill, I was given three scenarios and and was asked to say what I would do, then I had to say what does that say about me as a person. That was pretty much it, very short and easy. Good Luck guys!

Hey! thank you so much! what kind of scenarios were they? At least it's not so intense! Did you have any questions you wanted to ask? I always find my mind goes blank when I get asked that question!

The scenarios were not nurse related at all, it is more to see what your values are, your common sense, logic. Nothing specific like NMC or anything. I asked what first year nurses usually struggle with and what specialised facilities Wolv has if you want to practise some practical skills.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your advice! Fingers crossed that I get in it's my first choice of uni! so I am hoping and praying that I get in!

I have mine for Wolverhampton on Tuesday! I have do some research on NMC, values and some issues the nhs is facing today. Just make sure you know your personal statement and you have some questions to ask yourself!

Hi! How long did it take you to hear back from your interview?
I had mine yesterday and I know I completely fluffed it up but would still nervous to hear back

The feelings awful isnt it! I just feel I didnt give enough information as he kept asking me for more lol

Omg me too! I had 3 scenarios, I had 5 minutes for each question, at that point I felt like I was waffling when he kept saying "you got 2 minutes left" :frown:

Yeh exactly the same here, I honestly feel I did so badly. You will have to let me know how you got on :smile:

Omg me neither, I'm getting so nervous, they said that'll get back to us within the 10 days, I'm getting worried
