Is Game Theory math?

I applied for BSc Economics at LSE, UCL & Warwick.
My Maths grades are aight. A* for Mathematics (achieved) and A for Further Maths (predicted).
My Personal Statement is insanely Macroeconomics based as that's where my interests lie, and ultimately the area I want to specialize in.
I did include a short paragraph about Game Theory and a sentence about the extracurriculars I've done for Maths.
I'm worried that my PS was not mathematical enough for LSE/UCL. I already have the Warwick offer.
Question is: Is Game Theory math? Will admissions tutors count it as such?
Opinions greatly appreciated.

Game theory certainly is maths. I wouldn't worry too much about your ps, it is not the be all end all

I think that LSE and UCL both place a heavy emphasis on it, which is why I am very worried. But you're right, I will try to worry less as now that my application is off, I can't really do much about it anyway..
