Not sure whether to drop out or stick it out

I'm currently in my first year of uni studying a joint course. After taking 2 gap years I thought this course was for me but I'm now considering withdrawing and doing a more traditional degree that will look better to employers such as history or even the PWC flying start programme. What do you guys think I should do as my ultimate goal is to work in finance

I don't think history is any more relevant to finance than whatever you're doing now, although it might be more traditional and academic. If you're that determined after a couple changes of mind you should see what degree you need to get into the financial industry. I think generally the financial, statistical or mathematical courses will help a lot more, although you may not have the right education background for those

I have science A levels and one of the subjects on my course is Econ but if I have a CV with 2/3 subjects degree and someone has just History would it not look better? I'm at a target uni.

I don't entirely understand what you meant by 2/3 subjects degree and how it compares with just History, but a history degree with or without science A levels isn't really competitive, for good reason because you haven't learned much about finance. Depends on what job in finance you're interested in

It's a joint 3 subject course including Economics and Psychology that allows me to specialise in one, I'm looking at IB, Asset management and consulting.
