Is there anywhere, like a website, where I can find out information on how many people are on the course/apply for it and if the course is oversubscribed?
The vast majority of courses are not oversubscribed. It will be different for medical type courses and really top universities like Oxbridge, Imperial etc but nearly every course ends up with spaces in clearing.
