help with calculating grade average

Can somebody help me with calculating my grade average? Only the best 90 credits are counted.

Module 1: 64.4% - 30 credits
Module 2: 50.4% - 30 credits
Module 3: 33.5% - 15 credits
Module 4: 54% - 15 credits
Module 4: 53% - 30 credits

I got 56.53% but I'm not sure if its right.

(P.S. I know my grades are really bad but I was sick at the time)

Please tell me that this isn't a STEM subject ..

The credits are 19.32, 15.12, 5.025, 8.1 and 15.9, for a total of 63.465 out of a possible 120. Assuming that they don't filter them in any way (e.g. ignore the lowest and highest), then that gives an overall average of 52.9% (3 s.f.).
52.89

you should probably learn how to do a weighted average

[30 x (0.644+0.504+0.53) + 15 x (0.335 + 0.54) ] / 120

They ignore the lowest 30 credits, does that mean its still 52.9%

They ignore the lowest 30 credits, so wouldn't they ignore the 33.5% altogether but 50.4% will still be half-counted?

You would have to check with your uni, where I did my undergrad i dont think you could split credits like this, so you would have to take off the lowest 2 15 credits as they have an average lower than 50.4 but you will have to check your universities grading regulations.

Wow you get to chop off 30 credits that is generous.
