Depends on your grades. I would stick with the better law schools and you can roughly tell them by the entry requirements, which roughly reflects competitiveness (not all cases). Be sure you wish to do the criminology aspect.

Look at something like ABB upwards imo.
Some offers placements which if you intend to do criminology then I would consider.

Criminology is likely to push you down the criminology avenues of law (not guaranteed) by emphasising criminology you are also accepting you have less interest in other areas. So think police, National Crime agency, probation , prison officer, criminal solicitor.

In contrast a straight law degree if at the right uni and right grades, leaves all those options open as well as the chance to do one or two criminal justice modules in addition to criminal law.. I just think it looks more neutral if you later change your mind and wish to pursue a legal career in another area.

Do some work experience so you have a better idea.

University of Surrey is on top 3 for criminology, however, for law the rank is such lower.
Hi there

I am a student ambassador here at Surrey, so I an answer any questions you may have

In terms of studying Law and Criminology, here are two links which tells you more about the courses in details:
https://www.surrey.ac.uk/undergraduate/law

These links may be helpful in giving you an oversight of the courses here at Surrey, and also may help to compare this course to other courses at different universities. I hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions you may have

That's great to know - thanks!
Hi there,

We currently provide a degree in Criminology and Law that you may be interested in doing your research alongside other options you may be looking at! Here's the link:

This may be an effective option for right now due to the inconsistency of the times!
