help im overthinking something

basically today i got told by a teacher that my skirt is way too short and that she can barely see it under my coat.
ik it was short, but im just a bit worried if it actually was too short. i dont know how short it actually was, but what if it was actually too short and i walked into school like that. what if ppl saw that my skirt was rlly short. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Teachers tend to pick up on these things because it’s usually a school rule for your skirt to be a certain length.

I doubt other students cared.

This teacher probably said this to like 100 different people that day. Don’t think too much about it I can guarantee no one right now is thinking about the length of your skirt. Most of the time we inflate things in our head that will never even cross someone’s mind twice.
