Hey Guys,My name is Maaz and I am from Pakistan.I applied for Quantitative Finance, AI, and Fintech. My predicted grades are 4A* in A levels.Tomorrow is my interview and I a bit nervous as I couldn't find anything related to the new group interview thingy, I hope everything goes well.

I wanted to know how diverse is HKU, I am guessing most of the kids are Chinese
I am from Pakistan so I am a little sceptical if I'll fit in HKU.....

I think there are many international students，the student ambassador who answered our questions online yesterday is an international student :smile:

btw i think u do not have to worry about the language. we speak English in HKU. and for our mainland students we cannot speak Cantonese，it is just same as you lol

I was talking to a senior and who said that in his year, he didn’t get an interview until the week before. So I imagine next week if we follow the patterns of “normal”? That’s what I tell myself anyway

Nice! I completed a masters and had heaps of work experience and significant research output but heard nothing. I wonder if they look down on candidates of older age.
