What hobbies does he have? That might be a good place to start
Games, books, art supplies, clothes, fragrances, tech, even snacks and handmade things are nice

It might also be a good idea to ask him if there's anything he'd like in particular

Food is defo a good shout. If you know his favourites you could put together a little goody bag of all of them?

Etsy have some really cute personalised couples things. Maybe he’s fussy but would appreciate something more sentimental? My mum got my dad one of those ‘under these stars’ prints for Christmas and it made my mum cry, but obvs she’s a lot older than you and your bf.
