why are you doing 4 A Levels? If you work hard you'll be fine!

The top universities look at only 3 A Levels you wouldn't get extra credit for doing 4. Of course you can drop one if you don't enjoy it or if it gets too much - take it as an AS level maybe instead. Top Universities look at what you do outside of your A Levels too like doing reading around the subject or doing something that bit extra.

I wanted to do 4 A Levels as well but i have my doubts. Emailed Oxford University, UCL and LSE to ask about this and told me that participants with 4 A Levels are not in advantage. Is like that, that they will only count your highest 3 grades and complete ignore the 4th. So is a waste of a time. Only important in STEM subjects. And the extra subject is usually further maths with maths already one of them (not a stem student but i know friends that says it). Also, psychology is a lot of work. Is basically history. You will have to learn a lot of people and exact years. Dont expect experiments and fun things. Expect history. For example, you will study a researcher that discovered something in a year, and you will have to know all the percentages in his findings and procedings. + that learn A01 and A03. A03 is like 4 medium paragraphs you must remember. And this is only like 2 pages. You will have to learn loads and loads of data. Loads of dates. Oh and also is like history because you will also have to write 16 mark essays! With A01 and A03 and it can be on anything. So that means a lot of revision! And the book is over 100 pages it can be fun in a way but not easy. All A Levels are hard anyways but psychology has a lot of context

I'd go for Business, Biology and Chemistry You can go on to do a Psychology degree with those subjects without the A level but it might be strange to go for Business degree with A levels in Bio, Chem and Psych if you see what I mean! I wouldn't do four tbh (I did four for AS and ended up with abbb. After dropping one for A2 I got A*A*A and had more spare time. Free periods really help!)

Universities literally ignore any extra A level after 3. They won't be impressed at all and won't give you any extra points. I would definitely only do 3.

I take history so i’m probably use to it 😂😭, but damnnn i will probably drop a subject if it is too much , i want to do something business related in uni but i also want to do maths too

Imagine me rn taking both History (got an A* in History GCSE and History in A Level is way harder) and Psychology😂 then just take psychology out. You can do business with business A Level as without business A level the combination of psy, bio and che doesn’t make sense. Good luck!✨

If you want to do those subjects then do them. You can always drop one of need be.
