Have you thought about the colour of the animal and camouflage, extra layers of fur for warmth, thin spaces between leaves to allow for airflow, needle shaped thin leaves to reduce heat loss and other things like this? I'm sure there's a section about adaptation to ecosystem environments in your textbook, or in your biology textbook as well.
