Other_Owl's attempt at a wellbeing blog

Hi, I'm Other_Owl, once again studying a masters in the Netherlands.
I'm going to follow the welcome thread Q.
How dare they say-you've probably given up on them and short lived.

So my goals-well basically I've chosen these within my limit.
My main goal is to be able to speak Dutch.
Try to swap MSc (if possible)❌
Try to bag this level 3 apprenticeship-I am doing something which I should have done at 18.
Get a new bike
Try to build up confidence.

Why I want to work on my wellbeing?
Well I want to improve my mental health (the lockdown..) enable be able to socialise with more people-I'm so shy.

My thoughts and feelings for the year ahead
Hopefully I will get somewhere by the end of the year. The rates are low enough to people to live a (semi) normal life. Not declare the end of the pandemic-don't think it will end that easily. I'm feeling fine and nervous.

Are you getting non-repayable funding for your masters? I was considering going down that route but concerned by the £10,000 cost.

Curfew starts today, stop going out on 9.00pm to 4.30am due to the Dutch government trying to control the covid. So BORED. Wish I started reading flashcards with sentences earlier.

Nothing really special going on. It sucks you have to carefully time your activities.

That doesn't sound like enough time for the staff in the shop to close up, clean up and then get home in 15 minutes! Are there exceptions to the curfew rules? I'd hope so
