Dwp work coach 2021

I’ve just received a provisional offer for the work coach role. Does anyone know how long pre-employment checks take?

Reading some of the posts it can take from a week up to 10 week. I submitted my pre employment checks last Thursday and haven’t heard anything yet. Where did you apply for?

Thanks for your reply! Oh okay, I submitted my pre employment checks on Monday. I’ve applied for West Midlands (Telford, Cov, etc) group. How about you?

Ahh hopefully the wait isn’t too long! 😩. I’ve applied for East Midlands Nottingham area :smile:

I know! Seems like each individual’s waiting time is different so who knows aha. Well I hope you hear something soon 😊
Hey! I submitted my details for pre-employment checks on 29/01/20 for the West Midlands (black country) locations ... fingers crossed we hear back soon!

Oh okay, yeah fingers crossed! I submitted mine last Monday so it's been a week. I applied for West Midlands - Mercia, I missed the black country vacancies!
Hi , I accepted my provisional offer today but apparently as I’m already in DWP I don’t have to do the pre employment checks? Anyone have any idea how long until we hear about posting? I applied for Black Country.

Hi I accepted my provisional offer Last Monday and today I received a conditional offer/start date. My checks are still being processed but they said I can work in mean time. Every area seems to be processing applicants differently! I applied for West Mids - Mercia and process has been quite quick.
Ooooh. I hope mine is this quick! Good luck with starting x
Has anyone heard anything for Black Country ? My application centre is still saying -
Dear ____
We are currently updating your application. We will provide further updates in due course.

I’m quite worried cause all they have asked me for is my NINO and nothing else. I have emailed vetting to see if they need anything else but haven’t received a response yet

Just heard that one of my referees have been contacted today, it’s been a while since i went into the pre-employement check stage (29/01/21) so hopefully we’ll hear something soon!

Yes my countersign & referees were contacted yesterday and my online portal has changed to say we will update you shortly. So Fingsrs crossed!

It can take a few weeks, but I have known some people to wait 3 months from start to start date :smile:

Aw no worries! It’s driving me crazy the wait, I’m hoping we hear soon, the anticipation is awful. Fingers crossed for us 🤞🏼

2 weeks from provisional to formal, by that time all security checks were cleared. Still no written confirmation as yet though x

Oh thank you, I haven’t had to do employment checks as I’m an internal applicant so I thought it would of been abit quicker x
