(Offer Holders) Oxford Postgraduate 2021

Hello Everyone,

I received an offer to the DPhil in English last week, and got my official offer on Friday. Does anyone know if the application portal is supposed to update, or if it will update after we have received our college offer? Mine still says it’s ready for assessment in January.

My portal says the same thing despite having received an informal offer. I've heard from past applicants that the portal never changes even after you get accepted, so I would suggest not giving much thought to it.

Okay, that makes sense. I know when I applied for my MSt, it updated after I was rejected to say unsuccessful, but maybe it’s different for offers! So we don’t accept through the portal then?

Honestly, I don't know about that. I think Oxford will let us know how to accept once we get our formal offer!

Yes, I got my informal offer last Tuesday, and my official offer on Friday! Which MSt course did you get an offer for?

It's the English MSt (1700-1830). I can't wait to receive my official offer!! It's been more than a week now.

Received my offer yesterday (MSt Theology). Would it be unheard of to email the department and ask if I've been put forward for any funding? I don't know anyone who has been through this process before, and I have not been through it myself either. Thanks for your help in advance.

I did... I worded it carefully haha, figured worst that could happen is that they tell me that they can't reveal that information (I hope, at any rate).

Has anyone been offered a place a Magdalen? If so, how long was your wait time? I'm hopeful, although I know they don't have the greatest number of places for graduates
