Exactly that! Just straight away. I'd say the entire building was full like not long after five minutes it was intense.

how does anyone know what flat and block they are in, i panicked when booking it because they all went so fast so i cant remember which one i selected haha

If you login to your NTU account (the same one you used to book your accommodation) and select either 'request for-' or 'pay for-' It will take you to the screen you saw when making your deposit. There in the top left should be your flat number.
Something looking like B5506 (Not mine just random lol)
The letter (B) stands for your block.
The first two numbers (55) is your flat number.
The second two numbers (06) is your room number.
