I honestly absolutely love living here, its my 2nd year here! Management is overall really nice, espc during the pandemic I had to leave to go back home (im a intl student) and they were very understanding and helpful! Since I was staying in the same room, I was allowed to leave all my things behind (including stuff in the kitchen!), and this was so helpful considering the fact that I had to pack up and leave within a couple of days. Prices are reasonable especially for its location (5 mins to Morrisons, around 15/20 mins to Uni). I think we have around 2/3 flats that are ensuite, the rest are studios. I'm sharing a kitchen in a flat of 6 and the kitchen is HUGE. Not much loud partying at most times since most students are in the studios, and the general area is pretty quite too. Its pretty much located in a residential area, so its pretty safe, I've never felt unsafe even when it is already late at night. My flatmates for the past 2 years have all been great, but then again it depends if you're lucky/not. Walls are thick unlike commonly purpose-built accoms, so you won't hear too much from your roommates. Each room has their own mini TV and Wifi so thats nice to have. Haven't had many notable issues so far, and my flatmates seem to be doing alright too.

Some things to note:
1. We only have 1 washer and dryer for the entire property (around 60 residents maybe?). Usually not a problem for me, most times I get to do the laundry right away. A lot of people were concerned bcs of this before they moved in (I was too) but now its not much of a problem really

2. We don't have on-site security or receptionist, so if theres delivery sometimes you might need to be in. Some other times, other residents will open the door for the couriers and they will leave your parcel inside a parcel box.

Overall, I definitely recommend living here, the prices are reasonable for its location (other properties around here are usually 150++pw) and the surrounding area is safe and not too loud.

You keep mentioning it's quite, so is it a dead and unsociable accommodation full of third and second years that never go out/have parties/socialise or is there at least a few "fun" people there?

There's definitely people who like to go out and socialise, we do have a FB group where people can get to know each other in the first few weeks. Since it is a much smaller accommodation (espc compared to uni based accoms) it can be "less social" just because theres less people. And if you do choose to stay in a studio, I think most people that do stay in studios mostly keep to themselves. But I know that the ensuite flats can be quite social (one of my friend lives in another flat and they socialise/party quite often). And the students that stay here vary a lot, different levels of study and unis as well! If you do want a really social accom I definitely suggest uni accoms for a guaranteed social life, just bcs theres more people to meet and hangout with. I mostly chose to stay here because I already had a friend group and didn't really feel the need to be super close friends with flatmates etc.

It’s great to meet you. I am an academic visitor and considering Lovell Park. How about it’s internet connection? How about it’s surroundings? I am concerned about the safety issue. Thank you.

Hello! I came across the Lovell Park accomodation and have been interested in their studio. But I haven't been able to get a viewing of the place. I couldn't really find much info about it online as well. Could you please give an insight about how the studios are and what all are we provided with at the accommodation, and also about the gym facilities? Could you also please let me know what all stores are around for groceries ? It would be really helpful.

Hi, I’m currently a resident at Lovell Park, however I’m leaving & the room will be available from January 2022 if you are still looking! If you get back to me I can answer any questions you have. x

Will anybody be staying in Lovell Park this September? I'm hoping to make friends beforehand. Also, how do I go about actually booking this?
