Raising money for extracurricular

Hi all,
Last year I somehow managed to get accepted into the John Locke Institute PPE summer school and I would absolutely love to attend again this year but neither myself nor my parents are going to be able to afford it. I was wondering what the best ways are of raising money for this might be? I'm open to all kinds of ideas from bake sales to sponsored horse rides. I need to raise about £2000 within a couple of months.

Thanks!
This is a list of ideas
Sponsored walk
Charity bike ride
Dinner and dance evening
Wine and culture evening
Quiz night
Poker and cocktail evening
Book club
Storytelling night
Concert
Talent show
Party in the garden
Show and tell competition
Fruit growing contest
Tree planting race
Potato and spoon contest
Sponsored rounders game
Sponsored football match
