Social anxiety at school

I fear for my life and sanity in school
The teachers intimidate me (even if they seem nice)
I’m shaking sweating and feeling breathless
I can’t tell people how I’m feeling IRL
No one can even tell I’m nervous (I hope)

Before I return to school after Easter I want to be able to cope.
I’m thinking of using drugs like SSRIs but I need a prescription.

Anyone have ideas on what I can do?

I’m 15 and male btw
Sounds like this is affecting you quite a lot. I would suggest speaking to your GP or a counsellor at school if you have one. Your GP is unlikely to prescribe you medication, but they can refer you to CAMHS, who can arrange for you to have therapy or prescribe medication if it is thought to be necessary in your case. Best of luck.

Lol your probably just overreacting. Deal with it. Your probably not the only one in the room who’s nervous.

Your probably right. Maybe I’m just overthinking.
I probably don’t need any help.
You could be feeling overly self conscious.
your worried how your voice sounds, how you will come across and how you look. You could be worried people will think your nervous.

id say try to take the edge of things. Try breathing techniques that will help you calm down. Or try doing things that your not comfortable with e.g. saying hi to your classmates and teachers, going on walks, participating in class.

hopefully this helps.
