I don't know, but I don't see it ending anytime soon.
When i see the signs.

The world as we know it will end over the course of the next 50 years or so as a result of the system of our society running out of resources and battling the effects of climate change.

If the world ever ends properly, it'll either be a nuclear holocaust or a technological singularity, or maybe a bit of both.

Yeah, or the end of humanity as the major power on Earth. If some small population of us survive as exhibits in an AI's zoo, I'd still consider the world to have ended.

More likely a nuclear holocaust if you ask me. All the technology to do that is already there and governments have some incentives to trigger it.
