Geography AQA Paper 2 3rd June 2020

Would anyone happen to have a mark scheme or have an idea of how to answer the 4mark, 6mark and 12mark question?
I can help with 4 and 6 markers. I have never heard of 12 markers in GCSE Geography AQA, only 9 markers. I have my Geo exam tomorrow :smile:

Hi,
Thanks I think it went well. I have human geography next week.
So for me when I am writing 6 markers I do 2 PEE paragraphs.

For example "Suggest how extreme weather in the UK can have economic and social impacts." Use Figure 2 and your own understanding

I would do:
P1: Immediately refer to the figure and info about the economic damage
E: Then I would provide a short fact on a case study of extreme weather for the economic damage
E: Then I would explain why there was damage (e.g: roads and railways closed so people couldn't go to work), I would write like 2-3 reasons to explain and support it

P2: I would address the social impacts and refer to the figure and info
E: I would again provide a short fact on the social impact of the case study
E: Then I would explain how it impacted people (e.g: schools closed so it interrupted the education)

For 9 Markers:
I would make 4 short points, two for and two against the statement. Then I would provide a conclusion evaluating 'to what extent'. I think the most important part of the 9 markers are the conclusions. I would write in the conclusion, 'To a large (or substantial, or small) extent, (repeat the statement here)' and then provide small reasons (e.g: repeating and summarising your points). Your conclusion should be 2-3 sentences long. I would do similar formatting with the 6 marker for the body paragraphs. Normally I write 2 body paragraphs but they normally have 2 different points in them.
