I am possibly looking at just about scraping a pass for my dissertation (mostly my fault, but I have very valid reasons). I was given an extension and I STILL did it last minute, meaning my primary data was rubbish and was missing the ethos. So even if my lit review is good, I'm just about going to scrape a pass.
Anyway, I just want to know what my degree will be.
I used to get firsts, but since COVID I've just been struggling more and more and I'm burnt out.
The year is 120 credit
Assignment 1- 30 Credits: 72%
Assignment 2- 15 Credits: 85%
Assignment 3- 30 Credits: 58%
Assignment 4- 15 Credits: 60%
Dissertation- 30 credits: 40%
Can someone help me in calculating what my degree will be? A 2:2 will be devastating.
P.S. I got 67% for second year.
It will be calculated as a 75:25 weighting (second year being 25)
My degree will be based on just third year
second and third year averages will be put together as a 50/50 weighting
Whichever is highest will be my final mark and they will base my degree on that.
I appreciate the help.
If based 75:25, you've got 62%
If based just on third year you've got 60%
If based 50/50 you've got 63.5%
So if it's 69% for a 2:1, normally even with the worst case scenario you've scraped the grade.
