Urgent advice needed

I subscribed to a fake porn site and I can't cancel the subscription. I want to tell the bank but its really embarrassing and I'm so worried too. PLS urgent replies thank you

Firm it and call the bank. Not only will you save money, you will also be fighting back against a douchey company.

The site seemed legit - a porn site I know of and so I registered and paid. However, the site was a copy.
I realised very quickly that it was a scam since the link they provided to cancel does not work and because its section on cancelling the subscription goes back to same link. I can't cancel at all. Do you think the bank will be able to help?

Tell the bank to block any transactions and dont do dumb **** like it again. Seriously, who pays for porn anyway unless its the particularly obscene kind?

Well first option- call your bank and tell them to cancel subscription
Second option - shut down your bank account

Also can they ask me what service i was buying i.e. hav to tell them it was porn?

It depends on your bank, if they can't compromise and can't do much then it's best to shut your account down as it's really risky having your details out there. Someone used my details to commit fraud and I instantly shut down my bank account which really saved me from getting a cifas marker and making my credit score really low. It's best to get it sorted asap! You can always open up a new bank account

Yes it is possible depending on which bank you're with, I'm with Lloyds so I shut down the account and opened a whole new one in the same week. You can open up another account now with another bank to transfer your money into there which will be the easiest option or you could do what I did, transfer it to a trusted family member and then they'll send you it back once your whole new account comes. Hope this helps

New bank I signed up for was monzo whilst I was processing new bank account etc.
